Whether you are having a minor tooth extraction or a full mommy makeover, post-surgical recovery can be very difficult. With Carolina Concierge Nursing services, you can rest assured knowing you are receiving the best recovery care.

 

Our post-surgical services include:

  • Receiving post-op instructions from your surgical team

  • Transporting from the surgical center to your recovery site (home or local hotel)

  • Obtaining prescriptions from the pharmacy

  • Helping you settle in

  • Assisting with toileting and hygiene needs

  • Providing post-surgical recovery education regarding pain management, nutrition/hydration, and complication prevention

  • Performing basic wound care

  • Monitoring vital signs as needed

Prepare for Surgery

1-hour virtual or in-person visit

​

  • Meet your Nurse

  • Complete paperwork

  • Review nutrition and hydration needs for pre- and post-surgery

  • Establish plan of care

  • Education regarding pain management, deep breathing and complication prevention

Premium Package

8-hour visit

​

  • Assessments to include pain, vital signs, incision and/or drain site

  • Nutrition & hydration review

  • Ambulation assistance

  • Toileting assistance

  • Hygiene assistance

  • Review complication prevention and when to notify the nurse/MD of complications or signs of infection

Post-Op Office Visit

Hourly Rate

​

  • Hygiene assistance prior to office visit

  • Transportation to and from post-op office visit

  • Assistance with errands within 10-mile radius before returning to home/hotel (grocery store, pharmacy, bank)

Friends Package

  • Must recover in the same location (house or local hotel)

  • Each person will be responsible for the initial “Prepare for Surgery” package

concierge Package

4-hour visit

​

  • Receive discharge instructions from surgical center

  • Obtain pain medications if needed from pharmacy

  • Transportation to recuperation site (home or local hotel)

  • Incision and drain site assessment

  • Pain management 

  • Deep breathing exercise

  • Review complication prevention and when to notify the nurse/MD of complications or signs of infection

Elite Package

24-hour visit

​

Includes everything in the Premium Package, Plus:

  • Transportation to surgical center

  • Stay on-site during procedure

  • Transportation to post-surgical appointment (if within 24 hours)

  • Light housekeeping

  • Essential oil therapy

  • Home/hotel visit for complications*

*We are not able to diagnose or prescribe treatment for complications. We can assess the need to call the surgeon or send you to the ED.
